Thank you for your interest in becoming a Guest Blogger in The Maritime House Blog! Before filling out the form below, please read the following information. |
|
The Maritime House Blog aims to bridge the gap between the Industry and Academia. It is a reading meeting point for Leading Academic Scientists, Researchers, Research Scholars, and Industry Practitioners working in the most diverse public and private organisations worldwide to publish their texts addressing relevant topics within maritime economics. |
In bridging the gap between the Academia and Industry, we need to be criterious in the texts being posted to earn the respect of both sides of the equation. For this we need to follow a set of rules to go through the process. |
|
The paragraphs below present the rules being applied: |
1) We are looking for credible and sound knowledge. |
2) Guest Blogger Posts are single authored. |
3) Posts are submitted in a Microsoft Word file and their length range between 4000 – 5000 words. This number of words allows the development of consistent Posts. |
4) Blog Posts are written either in British or American English, even though we prefer British English. |
5) Posts are expected to target a wider audience, they need to be written in simple English to improve their readability while keeping in mind the industry terminology and consistency of the text. |
6) Blog Posts Instructions will be sent by email. These instructions concern Reference Formatting, Equations, Tables and Figures Presentations, Numerical Scales and Style. |
7) All submitted Posts will be reviewed and proofread in-house before publishing to guarantee their quality. |
8) All submitted Posts will be released on The Maritime House Blog! under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Llicense. For further information, click here. |
9) A fee of 75.00 Euros + 23% VAT (totalising 92.25 Euros) applies. This fee supports all our work, thus allowing all interested parties located even in the most remote places of the world to access information from the Industry and Academia. |
10) Payments are made via PayPAL or Bank Transfer. In both cases, additional full charges apply. These will be the responsibility of the Guest Blogger. For Further contact us via email or check the Online MasterClasses Registration Form to learn about these charges. |
|
In exchange, we offer the following: |
1) Your Post will be shared by email among the Industry and Academia players and on Social Media Platforms. |
2) You can attend 1 MasterClass for free, counting from the date when your Post is released on The Maritime House Blog. |
|
For now, the Digital Object Identifier or DOI is not being considered. However, if the number of submissions justifies its subscription, we may consider it, even though the purpose of The Maritime House Blog is not the one of a Journal. Its purpose is to contribute to a better maritime industry day after day and develop creative thinkers to support its evolutionary path.

|
We look forward to hearing from You. |
It will be an awesome Journey. |
