International Steering Committee

 
The 2023 World of Shipping Portugal Conference International Steering Committee (IStC) comprises well-known representatives from Academia and Industry (hereinafter Members) who have developed a high reputation in shipping, ports and logistics matters and are internationally recognised. IStC Members are individually invited 'ad personam' by the Conference Chairman. The IStC function is to 1) guide and assist the Local Organising Committee and 2) publicise and promote the 2023 World of Shipping Portugal Conference. Maintaining the quality of submitted research papers and an appropriate balance between researchers' and practitioners' interests are particularly important goals. International Scientific Committee

 

The 2023 World of Shipping Portugal Conference International Scientific Committee (IScC) is responsible for overseeing the peer-review process to ensure consistency in the scientific quality of the presentations. Its Members were invited 'ad personam' by the Conference Chairman and are familiar with the blind peer review process. Amélia Loja is the Chairman of the IScC.
